Call for Papers: “Leaders and New Trends in Political Communication”

Now a Call for Papers has been issued for the forthcoming conference Leadership. Leaders and New Trends in Political Communication. The conference will be held in Rome, Italy, between May 20-21.

Confirmed keynote speakers are: Brian McNair, Sara Bentivegna, Nico Carpentier, Fausto Colombo, Raffaele De Mucci, Sergio Fabbrini, Ivor Gaber, Matthew Hibberd, Michael Higgins, Leonardo Morlino, Edoardo Novelli, Jo Silvester, Mick Temple, Dario E. Viganò, and Katrin Voltmer.

Call for Papers: “A Question of Power”

On September 29-30, 2011, the Gronigen Centre for Journalism Studies will hold a conference on the theme “A Question of Power. Conflict, agreement, and negotiation between journalists and their sources”. The deadline for abstract submissions is on April 15.
